Woodway Municipal Court is a Safe Haven (Amnesty) Court

When you appear before the Municipal Court to inquire or pay your warrant, you will NOT be arrested.

Court Business Hours is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The Judge Session is every Wednesday between 8-10 a.m. The 1st Tuesday of the month between 5-6 p.m. The 1st Saturday of the month between 8-9 a.m. No appointment needed. This schedule may change due to judge availability. Any changes will be noted below.

The next Tuesday Evening Judge Session is Tuesday, January 7th between 5-6 p.m.

The next Saturday judge session is Saturday, December 21st and January 4th  between 8-9 a.m.

Judge Session every Wednesday between 8-10 a.m.

Payment Information

No personal checks accepted. You may pay in person, by phone, or online. Accepted payment methods are:

For money orders and cashier’s checks, make them payable to the City of Woodway Municipal Court.

Payment Plans

You may appear before the Court to have the warrant lifted and the clerk may be able to place you on a payment plan or will set you for the next available court date to work out the remaining balance with the Judge. Failure to appear at your assigned court date may result in the issuance of another warrant and additional fees.

Note: When you appear before the Municipal Court to inquire or pay your warrant, you will NOT be arrested.

Failure to make disposition on warrants may cause the Texas Department of Public Safety to deny renewal of your driver’s license. Closed cases clear the status with Texas Department of Public Safety and restore renewal of your driver’s license.

Failure to make disposition on warrants will be reported to a private collection agency.
