The Inspections and Planning Division ensures that land use conforms to the comprehensive land use plan and zoning ordinances and that new construction meets all applicable codes adopted by the City. 

Woodway’s One-Stop Center

Every Thursday | 2:00 – 3:00 pm

To better serve our customers, the City’s One-Stop Center consolidates the process of development and permitting assistance into a single location.

The One-Stop Center is the primary intake point for commercial and residential development, and building permitting applications. It is also a primary payment location for all building and over-the-counter construction permits, as well as most other City applications and licenses.

Representatives from the Planning and Inspections Department, as well as other City departments involved in the development process, are available to answer questions and offer guidance and assistance during the planning, design, review and inspection phases of the development process.

What to expect when you get to the One Stop Center

  4. Assistance with application and plans
  5. Plan review

  • Non-structural plan reviews
  • Permit issuance

Things to Note

Please note that accessory structures require permitting and approval prior to placement or erection of the structure. This includes swimming pools, as well as all storage buildings (both delivered and erected on site, even if structures are not placed on a permanent foundation).
