To avoid conflicts between completion of work and the inspector’s arrival, please plan ahead and schedule inspections only when certain of completion (i.e. – work scheduled for PM should be ready for inspection by NOON or scheduled for the following day).
- Failed inspections may result in a re-inspection fee of $45.00, at the discretion of the inspector. This fee must be paid prior to the scheduling of further inspections.
- Where occupied structures are affected by electrical service repairs/changes, or by gas repairs/tests where service has been disconnected, the contractor is responsible for pulling the permit and arranging the inspection in advance whenever possible.
