The Woodway Public Safety Department is excited to launch Partner & Protected, a program built on the principle of strength in unity. This initiative enhances the safety and security of local businesses while fostering stronger relationships between the community and Woodway PSD.
Through this program, businesses can request a safety walkthrough from our officers. During the walkthrough, we identify potential vulnerabilities in business security, fire hazards, and offer recommendations to address them. Additionally, we collect emergency contact information to ensure our officers can efficiently respond to incidents, day or night, and connect with the appropriate individuals or access the building if necessary.
As a part of the program, participating businesses will receive stickers or signs to display on their property, symbolizing their partnership with Woodway PSD. These signs act as a deterrent to criminal activity while also promoting trust and mutual respect between local businesses and public safety officers.
This initiative not only strengthens community trust but also serves as a morale booster for both businesses and our officers. Business owners can take pride in their commitment to safety, while officers gain valuable support and recognition from the community they serve. Together, we’re building a safer, stronger Woodway.
